Gerard set up the firm in 2016 and has 20 years’ experience in the accountancy business. He is a highly skilled business advisor who works with a portfolio of owner managed businesses across Ireland and the UK. As well as providing accounts, tax and business advice, Gerard specialises in delivering Recovery and Insolvency solutions for his clients. He is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner. Gerard trained as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in Dublin. He moved back to Northern Ireland post-qualification and has built up significant experience in the private and public sector throughout his career to date. In the recession that followed the 2007/08 property crash, Gerard established himself as one of the country’s leading Insolvency Practitioners and in that time helped many businesses and individuals as they worked through their financial problems in very challenging times.

With a proven track record in securing significant debt write-downs and debt settlements for his clients, Gerard provides a personalised service with the client at the heart of all he does. Very approachable, Gerard always takes the time to get to know his clients on a personal and professional level, working closely with them to understand their businesses and deliver a bespoke service.

Having advised many SME owner-managed businesses throughout the lifecycle of their business, Gerard is regularly instructed by business owners who are selling their business or handing it on to the next generation, Gerard has experience in delivering succession planning and securing their exit in a profitable and tax-efficient manner.
