As an Insolvency Practitioner Gerard is bound by the Insolvency Code of Ethics when carrying out professional work relating to an Insolvency appointment.

Complaints

We would hope to be able to resolve any complaints internally. If you have any issues or wish to discuss any areas for improvement, please contact Gerard Gildernew initially (gerard.gildernew@gildernewandco.com).

However, if your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you have the right to raise any complaint via the Complaints Gateway:

Professional Indemnity Insurance

Our professional indemnity insurers are Markel (UK) Limited.

Gildernew & Co Ltd maintains Professional Indemnity Insurance with a limit of indemnity of £5 million for any one claim, providing protection against claims arising from professional negligence, errors, omissions, breaches of confidentiality, and other civil liabilities in the course of delivering our professional services. This cover is arranged through Markel and applies on a worldwide basis, excluding the USA and Canada.
